Cyber Security Manager
Familiarise yourself with the operation of the information security management system, the system documentation and with measures. The course will introduce the current legislation and international standards.
The Cybersecurity Manager is the person responsible for planning, organizing and directing the implementation of information security management measures, projects and programs to achieve the specified cybersecurity objectivesand that is within the deadline a within the set budget.
In practice, the cybersecurity manager is a kind of intermediate level between the top management (strategic management level) and the operational level. The performance of the role of the cybersecurity manager must be separate from the roles that are responsible for the operation of the information and communication system.
The course will introduce the elements of implementation and operation of the information security management system according to the applicable legislation. During the course, students will understand the basic modules of the information security management system and the links between them, how to proceed with the implementation of the system and what documentation is necessary.
Course content
The course will introduce the following elements:
- information security management system according to the Cyber Security Act (scoping of the system; security documentation; organisational and technical measures)
- information security management system security policies and their compliance with the law
- asset management
- Risk management (risk management plan; measures; applicability statement; threat and vulnerability criteria)
- mandatory and recommended documentation and its content
- organisational security (role definition)
- safety requirements
- implementation and operation of the SŘBI

The course is finished certification exam (test) and meets all the requirements of the Cybersecurity Act. Graduates of the course have thus duly fulfilled the legislative obligation imposed by law. The course is fully compliant with the requirements ISO 17024.
