OUTDATED IT INFRASTRUCTURE AND EXPANSION PLANS

Doosan Lentjes Czech supplies power plants and incinerators with sophisticated fluidized bed combustion and flue gas cleaning technologies. It is designed by about 40 engineers working on expensive workstations that nevertheless were unable to cope with the ever-increasing demands CAD applications (AutoCad, Inventor, etc.). The cycle of purchases of more powerful hardware was never ending and he was making unbearable a large part of the operating costs.

At the same time, Doosan Lentjes Czech needed to build facilities for a new design team in Poland, which would operate without local IT support. Following the trends in the field of technical modelling led the company's management to the decision to follow the path of virtualization of CAD environments and end workstations - in cooperation with experts from ORBIT.

Implemented solution 3D Workplace we have built on Citrix and NVIDIA technologies. The new Polish office went into the cloud environment first, then we transformed our home IT infrastructure.
