Experience Days 2018 vol. 2 Přerov
On Thursday 29 November, we continued with the 3D Workplace theme in the autumn double battle - the ORBIT Experience Days 2018. This is a space for sharing experiences and news from the areas in which we operate as specialists.
EXPERIENCE DAYS 2018 - THIS TIME IN PŘEROV
For the second time we have brought you the concept 3D Workplace a real experience with its use. With the Moravian part of the Experience Days tour we visited the LH Hotel Jana in Přerov. We have fulfilled the wish of those interested to be able to visit Experience Days without spending hours in the car or on the train. Why not, that's what it's all about, among other things - save valuable time and be able to access your workplace from anywhere and from any device.
In a group of nearly 30 people, we openly and lively debated the features, benefits and pitfalls of the entire application and content delivery system in the demanding CAD and CAE environment. In addition to the classic presentations, there were live demonstrations of virtualized IT environments, where cutting-edge optical instruments are developed.
3D WORKPLACE IN MEOPTA
None of this would be possible without our exclusive guests from Meopta-optics. With the ability to access (with proper authorization) their 3D Workplace production environment from anywhere and any device, attendees were able to experience the solution directly in sharp production environment Meopta-optics designers and developers.
One of the most interesting things the engineers showed was undoubtedly the development cycle of a prototype optical lens product. A real insight into the development of such cutting-edge optics as Meopta develops and manufactures is priceless and does not come along every day for a mortal. The validity of the information given and presented live by Meopta's top engineers is supported by the fact that the entire they have been using the 3D Workplace concept successfully for more than 2.5 years.
EXPERIENCE DAYS... AND NIGHTS
We finished the successful technological afternoon with a delicious dinner and then a small tournament in bowling and billiards.
