Switch safely to Windows 10 while there's still time

Remember years ago when Microsoft announced the impending end of extended support for Windows 7 and urged businesses to migrate to Windows 10? There seemed to be no rush because there was plenty of time. And so many companies are grappling with the issue of how much the last-minute, delayed decision will cost them. How to get out of it?

WE ALL (ALMOST) HAVE TO GO THERE

Nothing lasts forever. Expanded Windows 7 support will end Already 14 January 2020whereupon Microsoft stop publishing free security updates. Such a risk:

a) does not leave any responsible IT administrator of a corporate network untouched,

b) can be solved by upgrading to Windows 10,

c) can be reliably and quickly eliminated by ORBIT specialists.

For the record, the correct option is a, bc. Businesses that do not migrate by the deadline will be left with the not-so-cheap option of paid security updates from Microsoft.

Initially, confidence in the new operating system was not very high. Neither did the manufacturers of all legacy applications declare it (or condition it on the purchase of the latest software versions). And so the upgrade option remained mostly unheard of and most companies kept Windows 7 OS on their desktops.
